I'm not sure of the event organizers' chronological criteria, but the event billed as the nation's longest running kids' fishing event -- the 33rd annual Take-A-Kid Fishing Trip in Clayton, set for June 6 -- will include several Finger Lakes kids as part of a contingent of nearly two dozen from the Southern Tier.
