GUNNISON, Colo. — The Colorado Division of Wildlife is seeking volunteers to lead visitor tours at the Roaring Judy Fish Hatchery in Almont this fall. Tour groups include elementary and high school students, and other visitors and tourists. Guided tours will be offered from Sept. 15 through Nov. 1. Hwacheon Sancheoneo Ice Festival is an annual winter festival in Hwacheon county, South Korea, which attracts over a million visitors each year. California Fish Face Extinction

Most of California's native salmon, steelhead and trout species face extinction this century without quick action to provide proper habitats. The SF Chronicle has reported 20 of 31 species of prized fish are in sharp decline, including the Sacramento River winter run of Chinook salmon, coastal Coho salmon and the Sierra Nevada golden trout.
